- Size Guide
A note on gender and sizing:
We believe that clothes do not have a gender, and that the fit, colour and style of clothing is an individual choice. We’ve de-gendered product descriptions and instead have tried to give information about the cut and fit. However, we’re a bit limited by the clothing that is available and how companies choose to present their clothing. For this reason, the labelling inside our clothing may unfortunately still be gendered – but we encourage you to wear whatever you like and feel comfortable in.
Similarly, we have tried to expand on the range of sizing we have offered previously, but again we are somewhat limited by what is on offer. This is still a work in progress and any feedback on sizing – and suggestions for more ethical clothing suppliers who offer a wide range of sizing would be appreciated.
- Delivery & Return
Delivery
We will only deliver an item once payment has been received in full.
Within the UK our fulfilment is carried out by our dispatch partner. They use Royal Mail second class post to deliver our products, to keep delivery costs down. It is not possible to provide a delivery date in advance, or to provide tracking information for domestic orders, although you will receive notification when your item has been dispatched. If you would like faster delivery, you can email merchandise@
landworkersalliance.org.uk to discuss expedited delivery options at an additional cost before placing an order. Please note this email address is not checked daily, and it may not be possible to fulfil your request. Domestic Shipping Costs:
Our standard shipping rate is £4 - £6
For orders over £100, postage is free.
Orders are usually shipped daily between Monday and Friday. Orders are not dispatched over weekends or on UK bank holidays, and will be dispatched the following business day. From time to time we reserve the right to suspend sales on our webshop for maintenance. This will be clearly indicated.
We will notify you if something happens which is outside of our control or if we are notified of any delays by Royal Mail or our fulfilment partner.
Delivery of the products is understood to have taken place when they have been delivered to the address provided during the ordering process. We cannot take responsibility for items lost, damaged, or stolen if the customer is not at home to accept the delivery and it is left by the delivery service somewhere outside of the specified property.
Shipments that are returned or require rerouting due to incorrect addresses will be subject to additional charges for reshipment and/or re-labelling, or customers will be refunded. If an order does not arrive due to an incorrect address being provided by the customer, we cannot take responsibility for this, and we are not able to offer a replacement in these circumstances.
Shipping charges will not be refunded for late deliveries in the event the recipient is not available to receive the package when delivered.
The Customer becomes responsible for the products once delivery has taken place.
Returns
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of placing your order. If cancellation takes place before products are shipped (by emailing merchandise@
landworkersalliance.org.uk), a refund will take place no later than 14 calendar days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel your order. If your order has already shipped, it must be returned and be received by The Landworkers Alliance before any refund can be processed. Please note that the return postage costs of non-faulty items are not refundable, and are done so at the customer’s own expense.
Before returning an item, please first notify us by emailing merchandise@
landworkersalliance.org.uk to let us know you would like to return your order, and to check your item is eligible for return / cancellation. We will then send a Returns Form for completion which should be included with your returned item(s). Be sure to include the reason why you wish to return the goods, whether you would like a replacement or a refund, and your name and order number.
Once received, a refund will be processed for the item(s) you wish to cancel (excluding postage and packaging fee). We will make the reimbursement no later than 14 calendar days after the day we receive any products supplied.
All returned items must be returned in a clean, undamaged and unused condition – The customer is liable for any diminished value of the products resulting from dirt, damage or use.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as used for the initial transaction, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise.

Carved completely by hand from one piece of locally sourced Cherrywood, these pin badges come as a pair – one axe and one saw.
The wood is sourced as a by product from local woodlands managed for wildlife and conservation by the maker and Landworkers’ Alliance member Celi McCutcheon (Grown & Made).
Each pin badge has been polished with a handmade food grade grapeseed oil and beeswax finish and makes an excellent gift or stocking filler for any lover of wood or woodworking.
Because of the way the wood has been worked it is left with crisp tool mark edges and shimmering grain.
Due to the handmade and unique nature of this product, the pin badges you receive may vary slightly from the pictures.

In Our Hands – Seeding Change
The inspiring story behind the blood, sweat and tears of the British farmers seizing the Brexit moment to outgrow the industrial food system.
Our current industrial food system is a vast wheezing giant propped up by an outdated subsidy regime, one that pays out to landowners and leaves many farmers adrift.
But in the UK… from the hedgerows and by-roads, in the fields and furrows, can be heard the stirring of change.
Stories of struggle from the global South have spread like pollen on the wind and inspired farmers and food activists. They have learned the idea of food sovereignty and have heard of a global movement to take back control of the food system.
We stand on the brink, the future is uncertain, but the seeds of a better food system are In Our Hands.
“A powerful and inspiring film, one that deserves a wide audience who will no doubt champion a better way of growing, shopping, cooking and eating” – Hugh Fearnley-Wittingstall – River Cottage
“Marvelous to see the rebirth of serious discussion about the future of UK land use. It’s time we put our own house in order” – Professor Tim Lang – Centre for Food Policy
“A meditative and eye opening journey into a world that closely mirrors our own challenges in the US and the world over” – Delila Vallot – Director, Can You Dig This

Our 2025 Calendar
Join us on a journey through the changing seasons; from the restful, cold of deep winter, to the stirring of new life in spring, the buzz and hum of mid summer followed by the slow wind down to the cool of autumn, and back once more, to winter.
Each month tells a story of nature, landwork and seasonal celebrations and is accompanied with a delicious seasonal recipe, shared by members of the LWA. Warming winter stews, cooling teas, tasty fresh tomatoes, tangy ferments and much more, our calendar is a delight to the senses!
Our new artist for 2025, Emma Reith, has created 12 unique lino cut artworks from her studio in Cornwall. Emma’s beautiful prints skilfully bring to life each season, from the plants that are growing in the hedgerows, to the creatures in the skies and on the earth, and the people working the land, from the fields to the forests and seas.
